Beaumont Machine offers a wide range of services to help support our EDM clients. All of our Engineering Services are done using Unigraphics CAD/CAM Software. We have custom Postprocessors developed specifically for our Machines to be used inside Unigraphics. postprocessors for additional CAM software are also available.
Fixtures are designed using Blueprint datums. Most common fixtures use either a 6-point nest, or are held on the “tree” shape, and are constructed from non-corrosive stainless steel components.
Programs are developed using a solid model, while fixture models are used in conjunction with the part model to ensure collision avoidance. All collision avoidance is double checked on the machine to assure error free movements, and variables in the program can be used to allow for in-cycle changes instantly.
Turnkeys are developed with customer parts and, in most cases, on the actual machine built for the customer. All the details of the burn are fine tuned in our shop and then can be tuned again in the customer facility.
Beaumont Machine can not only build machinery to close tolerances, but can also machine parts to close tolerances – from aerospace and power-gen, to medical instruments.
